Calvary Baptist Church in Elyria celebrates 100 yr anniversary

Calvary Baptist Church celebrated its centennial and the Come & Create Community Mural team was honored to be a part of this important day. On May 19 2012, over 70 of Calvary Baptist Church members joined together in celebration to paint a piece of art created for them to enjoy now and for generations to come. The following photo highlights capture a small part of the fun and fellowship everyone experienced.

Come & Create Painting Class is off to a great start meeting Tuesdays in North Olmsted. It's wonderful to see interest grow with artists added to each 8 week session creating a different, fun, excitingly creative group dynamic in which to paint! Coaching artists to develop their artistic strength is the focus of Come & Create Painting Class. No two artists are alike. Therefore no two pieces of art are alike. I hope you enjoy the unique artist unveiled and released in these recent works by Come & Create Painting Class.

Come & Create Lorain County Metro Parks Community Mural

We had a great time painting with everyone from the Metro Parks. This collaborative painting was created exclusively for Dan Martin commemorating his 20 years of service as the director of Lorain County Metro Parks. More than 100 of Dan's family, friends and fans contributed to painting this mural sponsored by TrueNorth Cultural Arts at French Creek and Miller Reservations on April 20 & 21, 2012.

Hope you enjoy the following photo highlights from recent painting classes. This 8 week session was held on Wednesdays at Lorain County Metro Parks French Creek in Sheffield. Come & Create Acrylic Painting Classes 8 week session is adding a new day and location in North Olmsted. Classes will be held at French Creek on Wednesdays if there is enough interest so please contact me if you would like to take classes at this location.
