Painting Workshop at CCPL Solon Branch

Teens create abstract expressionist paintings after school
at the Cuyahoga County Public Library Solon Branch

The excitement was contagious as Solon teens began painting yesterday at the after school Artist Detectives Art Program sponsored by the CCPL Solon Branch. The room filled with creative energy as the Artist Detectives began painting like Pollock. Hope you enjoy the following photo highlights.

Solon teens researched the artist then painted in action painting style
The process is interesting to watch as individuality begins to stand out
 Unique concepts are revealed
There's nothing better than painting with friends after school
The winner of the Making It As An Artist book raffle with JoAnn DePolo
Everyone created with joy!
Even some little ones stopped in to paint!

Thank you to Nancie Skonezny of the CCPL Solon Branch for inviting the Artist Detectives after school art program. Many visitors to the library enjoyed and benefited from your vision to reach the community through the arts. You provided an uplifting experience through creativity and it is something they will be sharing with family and friends for a long time.

Artist Detectives Art & Research Program can be conducted at your school or library and is also offered at JoAnn DePolo Studios & Gallery in North Olmsted. For more information please call 440-320-0900.
